Y6: Summer Curriculum Showcase

13th Jul 2024

This week our school hosted the final Curriculum Exhibition of the academic year, and the children of Y6 were very excited at the opportunity to exhibit some of the beautiful work that they have produced over the past months.

We displayed work from various units of learning, in a range of curriculum areas. The exhibited work included expositions  on various turning points of the Second World War, information leaflets on the gods of the Ancient Maya, scientific diagrams of series and parallel circuits, electronic buzzer games designed and built by the children, biographies of Charles Darwin, extended pieces of written dialogue and Banksy-inspired self-portraits.

What was common throughout all of the work displayed was the immense effort of the Y6 children in so many distinct areas of learning, as well as the huge pride that they have taken in the presentation and quality of their work.
