Y6: Diary Writing

This week the Y6 children have been writing their very own diaries, from the point of view of a soldier at Dunkirk during the Second World War. During our writing process, the children have been learning how to use relative clauses to add extra information and detail into sentences. We have also been exploring how similes can be used to enhance our descriptions of the dramatic scene on the Dunkirk beach.
