Y6 End of Year Awards

15th Jul 2021

All our Y6 children have had a fantastic final year with us. Each of them has been on an incredible journey that has brought them to this point.

All can look back on their time at SJF with a great sense of pride

  • for their many achievements
  • for the barriers they have overcome
  • for the care they have shown others
  • for the examples they have set

Our four prestigious awards were handed out this morning to our Y6 pupils, and, in truth, there were several outstanding candidates for each, which is testament to how special this group of children are.

However in the end, the following were chosen, and we congratulate them and thank them for the great examples they are!

  • The Excel Award: goes to Jacob G for showing determination to do his best and go further which has resulted in Jacob making excellent progress in order to achieve well!
  • The Endeavour Award: goes to Emilia for showing resilience and for being determined to do her best every day - giving everything her all!
  • The Nick Zelly Award: goes to William for achieving in sports both inside and outside of school and for always showing a real passion and drive for every sport he takes part in.
  • The Liam McGurrin Award: goes to Olivia for being an all-around citizen and for demonstrating our values every single day! Olivia is always so helpful and caring to others, not just in the class but throughout whole school too!

We are so proud of all our Y6 pupils and we will miss you! As you prepare to step bravely in to the next exciting phase of your lives always be proud of who you and never be afraid to let your light shine!
