Y6: History

16th Dec 2022

In this week's history lesson, our Y6 children have been learning about how the First World War ended and the significant ramifications of the conflict for the whole of Europe over the next several decades.

Our learning focused on the Treaty of Versailles, an agreement designed by the allied nations which punished Germany for its role in the war. The Y6 children analysed a variety of sources relating to the treaty, paying close attention to the differing objectives and emotions of the governments and peoples involved.
