Y6 History: WW2 & The Holocaust
26th Jan 2025
This week the children of Y6 have continued to study the Second World War, looking in detail at the persecution of Jewish people and other minorities within Europe by the Nazi government. The children learnt about the origins of anti-Jewish propaganda within 1930's Germany, as well as the discrimination suffered by Jewish people and other communities in the years and months preceding the Holocaust.
The children undertook this work ahead of Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday, when the children will explore the longstanding effects of the Holocaust, as well as other examples of discrimination, persecution and intolerance.
