Y6 RE: The Prodigal Son

24th Sep 2021

This week in RE we have been studying the parable of the Prodigal Son. We have discussed the meaning behind the story, establishing that the son represents humankind and our sins, while the father represents God and his unwavering love. We also discussed the concepts of conditional and unconditional love and related this to God's relationship with us.

Finally, we created these brilliant comic strips, detailing the parable, before answering questions based on our understanding of the story and how it relates to our lives as Christians.
