Y4 Design Technology: Our Healthy Eating Project

22nd Oct 2024

Our Y4 Design Technology project has been focused on healthy eating, meaning that we have considered the different components of a healthy and nutritionally balanced sandwich. In our lessons, building up to the making of the sandwich, we discussed the importance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates, and the benefits of including vegetables within our sandwich. We also discussed working hygienically and safely, and we had a tasting session, where we tried a range of different healthy fillings. This work led up to our sandwich making session. The next step is to evaluate our creations, and decide how we would develop our sandwiches for the future.

Well done to Y4, we hope your sandwiches taste as good as they look!
